This was an... experiment. Kind of in between realism and anime? Something like that. Anyways, perhaps I'll do more work like this (and maybe improve a bit too). I rushed too much at the end of doing this because my attention span is so darn short.
This is a fanart of Count D from "PetShop of Horrors".
I FINALLY have a picture of him for my gallery now. Which makes me feel accomplished because I love him so much. ^o^
Yes... he's very femmy, but he's supposed to be and stuff.
Uhn, I ve heard about the series and him.... the pic here is really awesome, such smooth transition between the light and shaded areas... ^^ the slight blur in the bg makes the pic looks almost 3D! Really impressive! Also impressive his pose and expression... whadda mysteryous smile (the lips are fantastic!) ^^ Great art overal!
You definitly should do more pictures like that. It looks beautiful And the mix between realism and anime is very interesting.
I can't get enough of your coloring, it's so clean and makes the pic look somewhat 3 dimensional O_o; Which is a very good thing. I can't get enough of your pretty men either... he's beautiful... and those eyes are awesome.. along with the rest of his facial features And omg one day I'll be able to draw roses like that!! *dork* XD;;; ; ;
O!I really want to read that manga!! I just...haven't had the money to..>.<;;
Anyway-The colors are fantastic!!*.* Love the shades-especially the purple..
And the roses are beautiful!!Such talent!!

Ohh, I love Count D! You did this very well, nice mixture of the realism thing, I think it makes it look better. Just... what else can I say; wonderful colors, fantastic shading, lots of other great stuff.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
